    How the numbers are worked out

    • Customer pays = item price + shipping you charge.
    • Payment fee = customer pays × percent + fixed fee, per order.
    • Profit = customer pays − payment fee − Shopify third-party fee − your costs.
    • Break-even orders = monthly fixed costs ÷ profit per order, rounded up.
